Zainab Khan chairs the Muslim American Leadership Alliance (MALA). Born in Chicago to immigrants from Pakistan and Afghanistan, Khan became a community activist after eye-opening experiences counseling survivors of domestic violence and organizing exhibitions for international female artists facing repression. A licensed clinical psychologist, she co-curated the International Museum of Women’s exhibition “Muslimah: Muslim Women’s Arts and Voices” and has served as a United Nations Delegate on the Commission on the Status of Women since 2013.

Sheikh Musa Drammeh a lifelong community organizer and interfaith, peace activist. He is the founder of Muslim Media Corporation, which publishes Muslim Parrot, New York Parrot, Africa Parrot, Senegambia Times, Bronx Post, and Parkchester Times Newspapers. Mr. Drammeh is a lifelong community organizer and activist who has led and inspired many community, peacebuilding, religious, political, economic, health and educational initiatives through which he and his colleagues have received a number of proclamations from elected officials.  He and his wife founded and managed the first and only full-time parochial Islamic School, K-12, in the Bronx since 2001. He led the founding of STEMDUP Institute, Inc., (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Diversity, Unity and Peace).  Sheikh Musa Drammeh’s passion for social entrepreneurship development hails from his decades in the areas of real estate, insurance and investment banking industries on Wall Street. Faisal Saeed Al Mutar is a social entrepreneur who was born in Babylon and raised in Baghdad. He survived the civil war in Iraq, the murder of his brother, and several kidnapping attempts before becoming a refugee in the United States in 2013. A practitioner of countering extremism and misinformation on an international scale, Faisal traveled to conferences and spoke on campuses across the globe about his experiences, working to create a positive alternative in the region. He founded the organization Ideas Beyond Borders, a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the Middle East by empowering people across the globe with access to new ideas, fresh perspectives, and the resources necessary to start groundbreaking businesses and take ownership of their own lives.

Ahmed Khuzaie is a Bahraini academic, author, political consultant, public speaker, and lecturer with a PhD in International Relations. He is the founder of Khuzaie Associates LLC and is based in Washington, D.C. His professional work focuses on Middle Eastern politics, international relations, and fostering critical thinking through education.
