I believe in a peaceful two-state solution that provides safety, security, and new leadership for both Israelis and Palestinians. As a Palestinian American, my advocacy is rooted in the resilience of my family’s story and a vision for justice and coexistence for all.
I support the Realign For Palestine project because I want to help shape a future-oriented narrative for the Palestinian community—one grounded in honesty, accountability, and hope. My perspective is shaped by my work in public policy and my lived experience as the daughter of immigrants from the West Bank.
This narrative rejects violence and instead calls for constructive, pragmatic approaches that recognize both peoples’ rights to live in peace and security. I believe Palestinians deserve resilient leadership capable of meeting today’s challenges while envisioning a future of coexistence. Since October 7, I have expanded my advocacy to ensure Palestinian voices in Minnesota and beyond are heard in urgent conversations about human rights and peace.
Bahea Manasra is a Legislative and Policy Analyst with the Minnesota Department of Human Services. She previously served in the Minnesota Senate, where she worked to advance policies centered on equity and inclusion. A proud Palestinian American, Bahea is the daughter of immigrants from the West Bank, and her family’s journey inspires her commitment to public service and advocacy.
In addition to her policy career, she is an active political organizer in Minnesota, uplifting Palestinian voices and pushing for transformative change. Bahea envisions a future in which Palestinians and Israelis alike live with safety, dignity, and freedom—and she works toward that vision through both her professional and community leadership.
